20:00 - 01:00 Welcome party (raut) in Vatra club directly in the basement of the Hotel Patria

Thursday (June 25)

  1. 13:00 Free individual program - a hike to the surrounding countryside of Štrbské pleso.
  2. 13:00 - 18:30 The tourist trip to the High Tatras. The organizing committee has booked a bus for ca 45 participants. The bus departs at 12:30 from the Patria hotel to the village of Tatranská Lomnica. After using the cableway to Skalnaté Pleso (1751 m) a tourist walk taking 2.5 hours along the most attractive part of the High Tatras Arterial Road (Magistrala) to Hrebienok hill 1285 m (a slightly decreasing tourist footpath) with very nice views of the High Tatras valleys. On the route there are waterfalls (Studenovodské vodopády) and two mountain chalets. Attention: it is a high-mountain terrain, the solid shoes are required! From Hrebienok by ground cable car to Starý Smokovec and then back by bus to Štrbské Pleso to the Patria Hotel. The combined reduced "magistrala ticket“ for both cable cars costs 20 €, for students and seniors 17 €. The „magistrala ticket“ will be paid by each participitant in cash at the ticket office in Tatranská Lomnica.
  3. Alernatively, it is possible to use a chair lift (4-seater cable car) from Skalnaté Pleso to Lomnické sedlo 2190 m. Then back to Tatranská Lomnica by cable way (the bus will be waiting for this group of participants)
  4. Visit the historical town of Kežmarok - Basilica of the Holy Rood (admission fee 3 €) using the bus - departure at 12:30 from the Patria Hotel.

 

19:30- 23:00 Friendship party in Koliba Patria 400 m near Hotel Patria (folk music).
